Fayson Gators - Water Bottle Fundraiser Need that last-minute holiday gift without a trip to the store? You can purchase a Fayson Lakes 30 oz. tumbler or 24 oz. water bottle and support the Fayson Gators as we work to raise funds to buy and install a water bottle refill station at Main Beach! These are Tervis brand and of great quality. They will keep warm drinks warm and cold drinks cold! Perfect for staying hydrated with your beverage of choice while watching your kids from the bleachers on Sunday Races, hanging out at the new Clubhouse Deck or Ladybug Park playground, or even just staying at home while in hibernation (or lockdown) for the winter!

Please email Courtney Mattie at courtneymattie@gmail.com to place an order! The tumbler is $35 and the water bottle is $30. We can even drop them off on your doorstep and save you a trip! Limited quantities and the tumblers are almost sold out! Thank you for supporting our Gators! The Fayson Gators Swim Club

Boat Rack Building

If you've walked past the Sabey's boat launch area recently, you may have noticed a new boat rack available for our members with registered, decaled boats to use. We have been allocating some of our funds to purchase the basic materials required, as part of our broader boat clean-up initiative, and this rack in particular was prepared and assembled by one of our very own Trustees.

We are working to construct additional boat racks here and on other areas of Association property for the convenience of our members, and could use a few more volunteers to assist. Even if you don't have experience building anything, just having some help with transporting materials - first from the store, and then to their destination - is a big help to us. So if you'd like to assist in any way - with picking up and delivering materials, building one using specifications/instructions that we provide, or just to lend a hand during assembly - please send an e-mail to Jeremy Raffer at jeremy.raffer@gmail.com. We look forward to making continued progress, and helping our members to keep their boats in top condition while improving the organization of our boat launch areas!

Trail Advisories You may have also observed that we've been posting additional signs at the entrances to Fayson Lakes trails. FLA Member Badges should be visibly worn while on our our trails, and guests must wear guest badges and be accompanied by a member at all times. Any member has the authority to respectfully request that a person not wearing a badge verify their membership, and to politely inform them that trails are reserved for use by FLA members and their guests only. In addition, we've recently received a few reports of hunters sighted near Fayson Lakes trails, which are likely related to seasonal deer hunting activities. As a reminder, there is no hunting permitted on Fayson Lakes property, at any time; whether or not they are a member. Abidance by this rule is vital for the health and safety of our residents of all ages who use our trails. If you do see someone hunting on our grounds, and only if you are able to safely get their attention, please inform them that they are not permitted to hunt here. If someone does not comply, or you have any concerns at all about approaching them, please directly contact the Kinnelon Police Department at (973) 838-5400.

Morris County At-Home COVID-19 Testing Morris County is now offering at-home, COVID-19 saliva and nasal testing at no cost to people who want to be tested. Only Morris County residents and people who work in Morris County are eligible. If you work in Morris County, but do not live here, you must submit proof of employment in the county such as an employee identification card or your employer’s contact information. You will be asked to provide your health insurance information, but you will not be billed. If you are not insured, your test will still be completed with no cost to you. Due to limited supplies, individuals will be limited to two tests per month. Sign up for free at-home testing at morriscountycovid19.org.

Thank you once again to all of our members for the various ways that you contribute to our community. Whether or not you celebrate the December holidays, we also hope that you have the opportunity to spend some time reconnecting with family and friends (if only virtually), as we bring this challenging year to a close. Please stay safe and healthy!
