We would like to express our tremendous gratitude to the many Fayson Lakes residents who participated in last weekend's Fix-It Day event! Thanks to the efforts of so many volunteers, we were able to complete a significant number of our planned projects during a truly productive weekend. We even had a number of members who weren't able to assist directly, but contributed in other ways: donating building materials, offering supplies, and providing lunchtime snacks to volunteers!

We also used this occasion to complete the installation of the new water bottle-filling station - from the proceeds of the Fayson Gators bottle fundraiser - next to the Main Beach Shack. Be sure to check it out the next time that you stop by!
If you didn't have the opportunity to participate last weekend, but would like to assist in the future, we still have a few that we didn't get to last weekend, and several new ones that we'll be adding to the list. We'll keep our maintenance projects page updated on the Fayson Lakes website going forward, so please check it often, as we can always use more help!
Lastly, thanks to Trustee Jeremy Raffer for his assistance with keeping us organized before and during the event - especially, helping to coordinate tasks for volunteers as they arrived to optimize project progress.
We are continuously awed by the great generosity and community spirit of Fayson Lakes. It is amazing what we can do together!
