WINTERFEST AND CHILI COOKOFFSaturday, February 24th 2:00 PM - Main Beach
Snow or sunshine - we will be prepared for whatever Mother Nature brings us that day: Ice Skating, Ice Fishing, Snow Shoeing, etc. Hot and cold drinks and snacks for the kids will be provided; for the adults - a secret sixtel! Grills will be out for warming up stew pots or for grilling sausages, burgers and dogs. Enter your pot of chili in our chili cook-off for a grand prize! The entrance fee is $20 for adult teams, $10 for teen (13 - 17) and kid teams. Prizes will be awarded. Root beer floats will also be served.

The Spring Meeting of The Fayson Lakes Association will be held for the transaction of any business that may be legally brought before the meeting. Proxy cards were be mailed out at the end of February. It is important to return your proxy card as we need 25% representation of the paid membership to obtain the quorum required to hold a legal meeting.. Come down to main beach for the 16th annual FLA Fishing Derby. Come out with your family for a day of fun and lots of excitement. Don't forget your camera! A great day for our youth to gain appreciation for our lakes and boost their awareness of the need for future preservation. Volunteers are also needed. ANNUAL FISH STOCKINGFriday, April 14th - 3:00 - 4:00 PM (Depending on Truck)- T-Dock Past Sabey's Beach
The fish stocking has turned into a quite an event over the last couple of years. All families with kids are welcome. Seeing the expression on the kids' faces as the large-sized trout are being released is wonderful. Please contact Dick Quinn at (973) 283-1894, John Woodruff at (973) 838-7830 or Bob Currie at (973) 838-1218 to make a donation so additional fish may be purchased.
Opening Day for the fishing season will be on Saturday, April 15th at 8:00 AM. The dates may change depending on the water level of the lake.

Your help is needed. Volunteers will be cleaning up, removing leaves, planting and preparing our beautiful common areas for summer. There is always plenty of work for everyone of all skill levels. Focus areas will be Main Beach, Sabey's Beach, and Ladybug Park.
BBQ lunch for volunteers will be served at 12:30 PM.
